Lord, help me live from day to day,

In such a humble sort of way,

To give a smile, help lift a load,

For those I meet along life's road,

And when I come to my journey's end,

My life I have not lived in vain,

If one dear friend can smile and say,

" I'm glad I met him on life's way " .

Please pass this award to all of your friends, and now I'm giving back this award to those who gave me coz they deserved it! :)

How Do I Love my HUSBAND?

I received this tag from Mommy Umma--who doesn't know Umma? I guess everybody knows her here at blogosphere! Thank you so much!\(^0^)/

How will I start?
It all started when I was still working as an entertainer here in Japan and he became my knight in shining armor. Saving me from a heck of drunkard--his friend.

I love him for fighting his love for me even though his father is against a Filipina without letting me know about it. His mother told me about their fight a year after our marriage. But now, his father accepted me like his own daughter.

I love his silly and crazy idea that made us both crazy-- like ordering 3 different kinds of coffee for a tasting and we both choosed the same kind of coffee that fits our taste!

He may not say the word " I love you " but one of the sweetest word he told me while we're taking a long, long drive is " driving with our car, listening our fave song, the sun is out and You by my side is just perfect.I'm not tired at all."

I love him for having much time for our children during his day-off--He's strict but a loving father to Wakaba and Haruka.

I've never been this open before and it's kind a cheezy!! ( blush ) but tried my best to post them here coz on January 29 is our 7th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!! and counting!!\(^0^)/
I'm giving this tag to everyone who wants to share their love for their husband. Please grab it guys!! :)

PINK HEART TAG

I received this tag from Ate Rose and Ate Ces, Thanks a lot!! I'm beginning to enjoy blogging and meeting new friends here in blogosphere!!\(^0^)/

The 10 Commandments are not a multiple choice.

Your mind is like a parachute..it only functions when open...

One thing you can give ans still keep... is your word.

You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself if you lack the courage to start, you have already finished.

One thing you can't recycle is wasted time. Ideas won't work if 'YOU' do.

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

The heaviest thing that you can carry is a grudge.
Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.

If you want to make your dreams come true, you musn't oversleep.

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

The best vitamin for making friends.... B1.

The pursuit of happiness is a chase of a lifetime! It's never too late to become of what you might have been.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right...Forget the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Friends are like balloons, once you let them go you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away.Sometimes we are caught up with who's right or who's wrong.Sometimes we just don't realize what friendship means until it's too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

It's up to you to add image to your post, the choice is yours-- mine is my personal photo of choice.

Give this HEART TAG to everybody you love and like and touched your life in a positive way. I'm giving this Heart tag to Grace, Anabelle,Joanna,Ate Weng,Ate Kim,Mr.Richard,Mommy Umma,ReanaClaire,Chandelier,Bambi and to YOU!!

Sports Festival Part 2--Community bonding

This was taken last year of October, and I don’t want to receive a call from my in-laws during that month coz there’s always a sportfest at my husband’s hometown and we’re forced to participate for the so-called “ community bonding ” wherein the community residents gather and do some sports act. Of course we don’t have a choice but to participate coz their blocks team don’t have any other younger members(?) and I guess I don’t have much more alibis to make–last year was I have my monthly period and the other year was ….unnnmmmn!! I forgot!!! and the other year was….. lol
Well, here are some of our sports act we did —the highlights includes stretching (LOL),tama ire games ( shooting small balls to the basket),tug of war, giant geta race ( wearing giant japanese wooden slipper with a member of six, kind of hard ), relay –for the aged about 16-20’s a 200 meter race, aged 30’s, 40’s and 50’s a 100 meter race and more. Would you believe that I ( on my 30’s ) did ( forcedly ) a 200 meter relay coz there’s no one participating on aged 20’s on our team?!!huhuhuu!!! My sore muscles reminds me how important excercise is!! So, here it is……I enjoyed it very much!!!!!!! Except for the relay (T_T)

Giant Geta Slipper Race

Team work!

Hubby and I,waiting for our turn..

Shoot that ball!!

The Button Relay

Our team placed 3rd—BANSAI!!! \(^0^)/

My Rice Roll LunchBox ( rice wrapped with dried seaweed )

Here's the lunch box that I made during my daughters sportsfest at school with the recipe. It's so easy to make even without the bamboo mat for the rice roll. All you need is a wrapper!! And you don't need some rice substitute or whatever coz it's not a sushi-- it's a rice roll! It may take a while to make a perfect roll but making it is fun!! Here it is--

Ingredients: ( good for 3 person )
egg - 1 pc
salt - a few
carrot - 1/3
kinusaya ( seapods )- 6 pcs
ground meat - 50 g
dried seaweed - 1 sheet
cooled rice - 200 g

A:
naga negi ( long onion or leek ) - 3 cm
goma ( white sesame ) - 1 tablespoon
soysauce - 1 tablespoon
sugar - 1 tablespoon
sake - 1 tablespoon
goma abura ( sesame oil ) - 1/2 tablespoon

How to make the rice roll:
1: make a scrambled egg with a few salt, set aside
2: cut vegetables lengthwise, thinly
3: cut leak into bit pieces
4: put A and the ground meat into the skillet, start heat at medium and saute' .when the meat becomes brown, add the vegetables then stir fry for a while until it dried up. set aside, let it cool
5: place 1 sheet of dried seaweed on bamboo mat or wrapper, sprinkle a few salt over it, then press a thin layer of cooled rice on the seaweed ( it will be easier if you slightly wet your hands ). Leave at least 1/2 inch of the top and at the bottom edge of the seaweed uncovered ( it will be easier for sealing it )
6: arrange the egg and the mixed meat then roll from bottom to the top edge with the help of the bamboo or the wrapper tightly.Cut into 10 equal sizes and put them into the lunch box.

Sports Festival Part 1-- family bonding

It was great t experience doing and participating at my daughter's sportsfest at school last October. I woke up early and did some o-bento ( lunch box ) for lunch and my in-laws were there ( 2 hours drive to our place ) and I really appreciate that they came to watch Wakaba. The highlights includes tama ire ( shooting small balls ), tug-of-war ( the children vs. the parents and of course the kids is always the winner!), a 20 meter dash race ( Wakaba placed 1st! ), button relay, and we, parents, too have done participating like dancing and singing the " Ponyo On the Cliff of the Sea " ( haven't heard of it? It is a famous anime song ) and others. I've heard Wakaba practicing the songs to be sang before the big day but experiencing it there is a great feeling--and she's enjoying, too! Here's some photos that the family really enjoyed! I'm really proud of her! \(^0^)/

Honest Scrap Award

I've got my FIRST time award given by my friend ' Joanna '. Thanks for following a newbie, Jo!!\(^0^)/

Honest Crap Award rules:
When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who think you deserve such acclaim and link back to said person so everyone knows she or he is real.
Choose a minimum of 7 blogs you find brilliant in content or design.Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are coz you don't have 7 friends.Show the 7 random victims' names and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with " Honest Weblog".Well, there's no prize but they can keep the nifty icon.List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on...

10 things about me:

1: Getting lost-- Due to my husbands' work, we're always moving from one place to another and finding it hard to find our " where the hell our new apartment is?! "

2: No cellphone-- I don't have a cellphone in hand and I think I don't need one! I find iPhone3G interesting but I guess it just doesn't fit my lifestyle.

3: Blowing on top--I tried yoga, meditation and deep breathing but still find that screaming into the mountain is the best anger relief there is.

4: Chat-- I haven't chatted for 6 years! My last time was my chat mate told me that there's a Kentucky chain near Sphinx and I thought that it was only a joke but there's also a movie theatre which I have found later. And my image for Sphinx was destroyed!

5: Free cosmetics-- I'm using my cosmetics for what I get for free from department stores, drug stores, etc. although I have some in my dresser ( Agnes' B is my fave ) coz I usually go out without make- up on and even if I did, the size of the samples is just enough for me.

6: Spam emails-- Opening every spam emails that I've got that promises to make the breast bigger because, well, I'm a little curious!!LOL! And oh, did you know that if your bra cup size is still the same that your'e wearing for years, there's a tendency that your'e not wearing your exact bra cup size. Me?? I lost one cup size down!!

7: Day dreaming-- the china dress that I bought 10 years ago will fit again, without having to endure of food poisoning first.

8: Can't swim-- I'm afraid of the sea if the sea level is up to my neck!!

9: Sshhh#1-- After 7 years of living in Japan, I was able to ride in a bus ALONE--And that was a month ago!!!

10: Sshhh#2-- I just learned on how to make my friends' tag that was sent to me including this one. Figuring on how it'll work out-- a week after!!!

I'm passing this Award to the following great bloggers:
Mr. Joops, Ate Weng, Mr. Richard, Ate Cecille, Ate Kim, Anabelle, Grace

MOTTAINAI!!!

Finally, after 5 years!! A new VAIO LT 22 inch wide Desktop PC has come to our home! The audio is great, with a motion eye camera, the keyboard is so easy to use, a really nice interior! Now, I'm starting to enjoy of using this new PC of ours, but the thing is I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF COMPUTERS!!! That's why it's mottainai!Sayang,in other words.SShhh! It's my first time to see a web cam!And I don't know how it works! And guess what?? All I know is to type and to upload photos! I'm not into chatting for 6 years now...And there's one thing-- My friend Grace and Richard ( Thank you, guys! )sent me my very first TAG to post but until now I'm still figuring it out on how to do it!( I can't understand for some of the messages coz our PC's language is on Japanese and my hubby is out when I'm touching them ). My first reason why I started my on-line diary is that I wanted to practice my english for every day use coz we're always speaking nipponggo here and I'm afraid I'm losing them. Now that I'm starting to enjoy and wanted to improve my site but cannot do it, I'm starting to regret on how important an education is which I didn't care much when I was still in my schooldays. I'm starting into crash but enjoying to explore something. :)

Thanks for visiting and have a nice day to every one!! ^_^
